About me
I grew up in Fall Creek Falls Tennessee and moved to California when I was 10. I'm a singer, songwriter, opera performer, voice-over artist, pianist, and molecular anthropologist. My music is a reflection of my journey through loss and a rediscovery of faith in love and life. After losing my daughter, father, grandparents, and several of my closest friends, I turned to songwriting as a way to process my pain. My debut album, Peace Within the Pain, reflects that journey, transforming loss into art that comforts, uplifts, and inspires others walking through their own valleys of sorrow.
Blessed with a 3-octave vocal range, I write and perform all of my own songs as a deeply personal way to process raw grief, turn pain into beauty, and help others find healing through their own losses.
My songwriting momentum continued to build in September 2026 when my song, "Let the Rain Pour Down," won the prestigious SongwriterUniverse Best Song of the Month contest. That same month, out of more than 101,000 global submissions, I received four prestigious nominations at the 12th Annual Josie Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. I am incredibly honored to have taken home the award for Songwriter of the Year (Female) Personal Portfolio. My independent album, Peace Within the Pain (which was nominated for Album of the Year), is a true reflection of my emotional journey, capturing the healing and hope that can be found even in our deepest moments of sorrow.
